 Seminars for (young) researchers

To aid the quality of research, specific seminars for (young) researchers at UGent - Faculty of (Bio-)Engineering have been established. Currently two seminars are available, which are open to any interested researcher. Both seminars count for the doctoral training programme, in principle for 4 credits each.

For members of the Doctoral School of (Bioscience) Engineering the registration fee is paid by the Doctoral School (DS-BSE). For FirW researchers in the former system the registration fee is carried by the Commission Scientific Research (FirW-CWO).

Seminar 'Presentation techniques (effective scientific communication)'

News:

Two editions are scheduled for academic year 0809 (fall 2008 and spring 2009).
DEADLINE FOR SUBSCRIPTION:
closed (both editions are fully booked)  

5 editions have been held. The seminar is open to a maximum of 25 participants.
The number of subscriptions for the last edition appeared much more than could be accommodated. Therefore, a waiting list has been created.
